My path to esthetics began long before skincare became my career. Health and wellness have always been a big part of my life—from competing in bodybuilding to learning more about nutrition, movement, and how the choices we make every day can affect how we feel.

But it was my own struggle with my skin that pushed me to look deeper.

What started as trying to understand my skin became a much bigger journey into overall wellness. I became a Certified Integrative Wellness Coach and began learning more about the connection between what we eat, our environment, stress, lifestyle, and how we feel inside and out.

And still, my skin wasn't perfect.

I eventually started working with an esthetician to better understand my skin and find products that actually worked for me. At the same time, I chose to explore my own health more deeply through testing and a closer look at my gut, hormones, and overall wellness. That experience changed the way I thought about skincare. I realized I didn't want to simply cover up what I was seeing on the surface—I wanted to understand the bigger picture.

So I went all in and became an esthetician.

Root & Radiance grew from that journey. My approach to skin is rooted in education, thoughtful treatments, and recognizing that everyone's skin—and everyone's story—is different. I'm not here to promise perfect skin. I want to help you understand your skin, care for it intentionally, and feel supported through the process.

Because healthy skin isn't about perfection. It's a journey—and I'm still on mine, too.
